Your mission
  • Global Sales Leadership: Develop and implement global sales strategies to accelerate growth with major pharmaceutical and biotech clients, particularly in new chemical entities (NCEs).
  • C-Level Client & Key Account Management: Personally manage and nurture key accounts, building long-term, high-value relationships with C-level executives. Drive multi-million EUR contracts while leading high-stakes negotiations.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a history of exceeding sales targets and successfully managing large, complex accounts in the CDMO sector, ensuring sustainable business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing global sales team. Mentor and drive results through leadership while still being hands-on with critical accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, R&D, and regulatory teams to ensure precise delivery on client needs and execution of projects.
  • Data-Driven Sales: Use market intelligence and analytics to refine sales strategies. Collaborate with marketing and data teams to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Adragos at major industry events (CPHI, DCAT), showcasing our capabilities and strengthening our presence in the CDMO space.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and strategic insights to the CCO and executive leadership.
Your profile
  • Senior Sales Experience: 15+ years of sales experience, with at least 10 years in the CDMO sector. Proven success in securing and growing multi-million EUR contracts with global pharma/biotech clients.
  • Strategic & Global Expertise: In-depth knowledge of global CDMO markets, particularly in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Willingness to directly manage key accounts while leading and coaching a global sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Negotiation & Communication Skills: Expertise in consultative selling and closing high-value deals with senior executives.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel 50%+ for client engagements and global business development.

We are a globally operating Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) headquartered in Germany. Our sites in Germany, France, Greece and Japan focus on the development and manufacturing of drug products (FDF) in the small molecule segment. Our manufacturing sites cover relevant technologies in sterile liquids, non-sterile liquids, and semi-solids, providing end-to-end services for our large base of (bio)pharma customers. Our development site in Greece is a one-stop shop for our partners offering a range of services to take products from inception to MA grant and supply.

Adragos Pharma was founded in 2020 pursuing an ambitious Buy&Build growth strategy, partnering with Scandinavian PE, FSN Capital, and a leading German Family Office, Prange Group. We grew the team from three to more than 700 people and will acquire and integrate even more pharmaceutical production sites in Europe and North America to become a market leader in the CDMO segment.
   

CDMOs (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization), produce approx. 25% of drugs that are available in pharmacies and clinics, thus playing a vital role in medication access for millions of patients globally. Due to the increasing pressure on healthcare systems (aging population, prevalence of chronic disease, etc.), the importance of CDMOs is only going to grow.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients, including both large pharmaceutical companies as well as small biotech firms, with a focus on new chemical entities (NCEs).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with global key accounts to drive sustainable growth.
  • Identify and hunt new business opportunities (RFQs), working with the technical sales support in our network to tailor proposals for our global target clients with strong emphasis on the US market.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure precise understanding and fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Conduct market analyses and competitive intelligence to identify trends and generate new business opportunities, in collaboration with our data analyst.
  • Work closely with our marketing team, ensuring a smooth and adequate follow up on leads. 
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, such as the CPHI and DCAT to represent our company.
  • Provide weekly reports on KPI progress, pipeline status, and strategies to senior management.
Dein Profil
  • Several years of experience in sales of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services, with a strong track record in working with NCEs, either through big pharma or biotech. 
  • Deep understanding of the CDMO pharmaceutical industry and specific challenges and requirements in contract development and manufacturing.
  • Robust network within the CDMO pharmaceutical industry particularly in the US.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and focused on acquisition business.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented approach with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Willingness to intercontinental travel substantially with over 50% of your job. 
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills in Japanese or German are a plus.
  • Understanding the importance of KPI reporting and capturing activities in our CRM system.
