This position will be part of R&D department within Lamda Laboratories SA, member of Adragos Pharma; a globally operating pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). The R&D formulation technician will accommodate a wide range of R&D activities pertaining to the formulation and process development of pharmaceutical drug products. The R&D Formulation Technician will be expected to operate within a competent team of scientists and will report to the Formulation Senior Manager.

• Collaborate with Formulation Senior Manager in designing and conducting formulation process development studies for solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms.
• Prepare and compound pharmaceutical formulations following established procedures and recipes. 
• Assist in the development and optimization of formulation processes for solid, liquid, and semi-solid dosage forms. Support in the preparation and execution of stability studies.
• Conduct routine testing and analysis of formulations, including physical and chemical characterization.
• Ensuring maintenance of all formulation laboratory resources and equipment.
• Document and report results of all experiments.
• Participate in technology transfer activities, including the transfer of formulation processes and knowledge from the research and development stage to manufacturing. 
• Collaborate with formulation scientists and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve formulation-related issues.

• Bachelor's or higher in relevant scientific discipline, Pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences
• Previous experience (2 years) in a formulation development role or relevant laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Computer literacy including use of Excel, and other MS Office software.
